Iris Rengganis was born at Jakarta in 1958. She graduated her medical doctor program from Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia in 1983. She finished her specialty in Internal Medicine in 1994 also from Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia.
She took Allergy and Immunology as her sub-specialty and finished in 2000 from Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia, and has become lecturer staff in the Internal Medicine Department of Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital from 1998 until now. She graduated her PhD in 2009 from Bogor Agricultural University. She is now a coordinator of PERALMUNI (Indonesian Allergy and Immunology Society) in Jakarta. She actively involved in PB PAPDI (The Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine) and CME CPD FMUI as a treasurer.
